So I’ve been trying to test out some comic book page layouts, and here’s the first idea I came up with. When the Chozo made Samus’ suit, I wonder if they thought about how one of her hands was always going to be a gun. I put kid Samus in a Zero suit because, well, I said so. While finishing up this image, it occurred to me that I don’t know how to draw sci-fi backgrounds. Oops. Guess I have something else to work on as well. It's not colored because I'm working on black and white stuff.

I’ll probably make more comics like this one to refine it’s style and what not. It might not be more Metroid comics, but I do find Samus as a kid cute.

Comments would be nice, because this is all for a project I'm working on. I can already see that there's too much white space, some lines could be thicker, and more detail could be added. But that's why we practice!
